A ruthless hunt against Priests and Churches has been carried out by the Greek police. For the moment, the Police arrested a Priest in Evoia Island who opened his church for Holy Communion to a few Christians, the Corfu Island’s Bishop Nektarios for the same “crime” and the Police still searching to arrest Father George in Koukaki Athens for giving the Holy Communion to 15 people.
Yes, you read right. Priests are being hunted for giving the Holy Communion.
Of course – someone would say – the Police simply do its job, because the Government decided to forbid the Holy Communion and to close all Churches in Greece, because of the coronavirus.
For the first time ever, no one is allowed to go to the Church even though Greeks Orthodox celebrating Easter on April 19, 2020. The Greek Government also decided that people in Greece might “catch” the coronavirus even with the sound of the Church’s bells and gave the order not to ring during Easter time!!!
In fact, the Greek State decided to watch all Greek Churches with drones and arrest anyone who goes inside to light a candle or take the Holy Fire that arrives every year in Easter in all Orthodox Churches all over the world from Jerusalem. The Greek Authorities are also monitoring the Social Media in order to arrest anyone who organizes massive celebrations for Easter and “invasions” into Churches.
In Greece are recorded 2,200 cases of coronavirus but the Government prefers to ignore that the rest 10,998,000 don’t have the coronavirus. This is an unprecedented violation of people’s constitutional rights.
From day one of the coronavirus crisis the Left asked urgently from the Government to lock down all the Churches and PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis gladly rushed to obey to the Left’s demands. The language and the attitude the Government is using when it refers to the Church’s lockdown shows a sadistic pleasure against the Christian faith.
The mainstream Media also declared war against the Church and the Christian faith. For the Greek regime closing the Churches is more important than closing the borders to illegal immigrants. It’s unacceptable to treat Priests like terrorists when the real terrorists are walking around free in the Greek soil disguised as refugees. The blood of Christ is illegal but invading the Country is almost legal and is being awarded monthly with pay-checks. Josef Stalin is dead. Long live, Josef Stalin!
